Occasionally your officers may experience location detection errors when trying to log into the software. To solve this issue first ensure that the GPS has been activated for your device (Instructions: Android, Apple).
Now, follow these configuration steps:
Android (Must be running Android 2.4.3 or higher)
- Go into Settings and ensure that Location is turned on.
- Ensure that Mode: Is set to High Accuracy.
- Ensure that Location Services/Google Location History are turned on.
- Restart the device.
- Ensure that there is a network connection.
- When the officer logs in they have to click "Yes" when the software asks to see their location.
Apple (Must be running iOS 6.0 or greater)
- Go into Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Make sure Location Services are set to "On"..
