The autosave feature for OfficerReports is only meant to be used to recover reports that might have been lost due to a computer or mobile device accidentally being shut off. The report that the officer is doing is autosaved every 60 seconds to the officer’s device (computer or mobile). Consequently, if an officer updates a report and closes it immediately that entry will probably not be saved, causing the loss of that entry.

As officers are doing their reports, they should not close the reports/app and rely on the autosave feature to recall reports when they are ready to add to the report.  The reports should be left open until they are submitted.
