OfficerReports partners with an industry leading cloud service provider to provide our customers with access to our software. Our partner takes a layered approach to physical security, to reduce the risk of unauthorized users gaining physical access to data and the datacenter resources.

In addition to the physical security layer, OfficerReports' servers have the latest in virus protection, enterprise class firewalls with a layered architecture, real-time security alerts using intrusion detection scanners, and 24-hour monitoring.

For purpose of disaster recovery, we regularly capture both incremental and full backups of all software and data to a different cloud instance. As a result, we can be back up and running in a short time in the event of a catastrophic system failure.

As an additional layer of security, we utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a client and server. The client is typically a web browser running on a desktop or mobile device. SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Without SSL, data sent between a browser and web server is sent in plain text. This allows an attacker to intercept the data and use it. for a nefarious purpose. At OfficerReports we use SSL to secure all communication between the web browser and our server. All data including sensitive data such as login credentials, reports, and client information is encrypted.
